Let's begin , shall we?

Okay, so Sarah J Maas, i love you. This book is the sequel to Throne Of Glass which i read in January. I don't know why i waited so long to read the sequel Crown Of Midnight, since i loved Throne Of Glass. I guess many things got in the way, school , school and yet again school. So during the time period of late january/april i really didn't read that much at all. I read the Percy Jackson series, both of them. Then i didn't have time for reading because i needed to focus on school and my grades. I Actually thought about this and i think that both Throne Of Glass and Crown Of Midnight is the kind of books that you need to focus on alone. There is so much world building and new words and things that you have to learn. In the beginning it's kind of confusing but you get used to it the longer in the books you get. Throne Of Glass was really good, i loved it the minute i picked it up and i think i gave it 4/5 stars on goodreads. I don't know why i didn't give it 5 but after reading Crown Of Midnight i don't regret that, because Crown Of Midnight was so much better. I can tell you that the first book is amazing but the second one is even better than amazing. As i said, the first book is kind of a book where Sarah tries to explain everything, it's the book when the world building and the plot for the rest of the series ( which is going to be like 4 more books after Crown Of Midnight) is build up. As for Crown Of Midnight , i think it's easier to read than Throne Of Glass because now everyone is kind of used to the weird words and names and this world so i think that's why i thought it was so much better. I am so excited that this is going to be a 6 book series. If you love fantasy , you will love this. Also , does anybody else watch the tv-show Reign on CW ? Because the 3 main characters in this book really reminded me of the 3 main characters in Reign. There is really nothing more i can say about this book without spoilers other than that it is indeed fantastic. If you've read the first one , pick this up, just go, pick it up read it and then come and talk to me about it in the comments.
SPOILERS AHEAD, IF YOU HAVE NOT READ THIS BOOK THEN DON'T READ THIS IF YOU DON'T WANT TO GET SPOILED, NOW YOU ARE WARNED SO DON'T BLAME ME IF YOU'RE SPOILED, THANK YOU....
Okay so people, i have so much to talk about in this spoiler section of this review. First of all I'm just going to say that i still prefer Chaol to Dorian. It's not that i don't like Dorian , he's and interesting character and i still really really like him but i still prefer Chaol to be with Celaena , if anyone is going to be with Celaena it's Chaol. This is weird because i said earlier in this review that i like Reign, and in Reign I am team Francis. And if you watch Reign and has read Crown Of Midnight you know that Dorian is a LOOOOT like Francis. The relationship with his father, the relationship with Chaol , they both also come off as these douchebags who sleeps with a lot of women in the beginning of the tv-show/books. That's why it's weird because Chaol is kind of like Bash or Sebastian from Reign, they are loyal to the king, they love their best friends/brothers love interest and i don't know why i'm team Chaol and Team Francis because it would make sense to me to be either team Francis/Dorian or Chaol/Bash, but I'm not. Okay so I'm not going to speak so much about the relationship/love triangle thing that's going on ( which i don't think is a love triangle because it was pretty clear that she would always pick Chaol, she even said so herself) But focus on the fact that Celaena is a Fae? I mean i thought she was part Fae from the start but that she was the heir ? How cool was that? I started making the connections as soon as it was mentioned that she survived when her parents died. I also think that's why the king had an interest in her from the first book. Also, HOW FREAKING MAD IS THE KING? First the Ridderak in the first book and now this kind of human but not creature living far below ground. I WAS SCARED OKAY. I cried so much during the scene where Nehemia died. Reading about Celaena's kind of mental breakdown during that time was heartbreaking. One thing i also really loved was the kind of bromance/brother relationship between Chaol and Dorian. I really respected Dorian when he kind of said "take care of her" to Chaol. Because if my best friend and i was in love with the same guy and that guy was interested in my best friend it would not be easy for me to accept that but he kind of did and i respect that. Also how badass was it when he saved Chaol with magic? I was really frustrated with Celaena blaming Chaol for Nehemia's death. I am also really frustrated with Chaol not telling Celaena about the threat to her life. I mean she's an assassin Chaol, i get that you want to protect her and that is really sweet but she could kill the man/woman who was sending Nehemia that threat. So i kind of understand how she blamed Chaol too but at the same time it wasn't his fault because it kind of seemed like Nehemia planned to sacrifice herself so Celaena would do what she had to do. It was mentioned in one part of the book that queen Elena and Nehemia talked about a thing that Nehemia had to do. I think that thing was to kill herself. As for Archer Finn, i really didn't trust him from the moment we met him, but i didn't think he would play such a big part as he did. When she killed him, that was so badass. Also can we talk about that creepy witch Baba Yellowlegs for a second? I was like no Celaena , don't go in there, it's a freaking trap. But guess what, SHE DID GO IN THERE. But it worked out well didn't it. Also Mort, A TALKING DOORKNOB hahahha and a sarcastic one at that. I was laughing out loud whenever he talked to Celaena. I don't know what to expect from Heir Of Fire. I think one of the guys is going to go after her. I hope it will be Chaol. But the thing is that i don't think she really needs Chaol or Dorian's help , i think she can handle it on her own, and i thought it was nice of Chaol since he knew that she was a Fae and that the place she was going is like some kind of homeland for Fae's. I actually kind of hope that Chaol and Dorian will go together and bond during their trip. I really really want heir of fire right now but it doesn't come out until september 2.
